Frequently Asked Questions

Where should I do my course?
You want to do your course through a reputable facility that has everything to meet your needs, preferably a facility that has every thing under one roof and a facility that you would feel comfortable visiting on a regular basis. A home from home.

Which registering body should I obtain my certification through, i.e. is my certification internationally recognised?
The Professional Association of Diving Instructors “P.A.D.I”. Currently trains 75% of the worlds divers, all courses are conducted according to a very high standard set down by PADI. All instructors are monitored very closely as to maintain the high standard of education, as set out by PADI.

Is it safe?
All PADI courses are taught under stringent safety rules and no chances are taken by the instructor, you the candidate are of paramount importance. Diving is not only one of the easiest sports to master but also one of the safest. The entry age for recreational diving is ten years old and I think this sums it up.

What happens when I have completed my Course?
You have just opened up a whole new sphere to life. The diving is unlimited. You will meet new friends explore new avenues and it is open to the whole family – nobody loses out. Most of all you will be having fun and getting away from the everyday stresses of life. You will also be more than welcome to our social gatherings, which take place every second Tuesday of the Month. Everyone is welcome on all diving trips, and these are scheduled on a regular basis.

It sounds expensive and how do I know it’s for me?
This is where I your instructor comes in to play I will take you for a try out dive in the pool free of charge with no obligation. You will experience the feeling of breathing underwater and being totally weightless, probably the closest you will ever become to feeling like an astronaut. This will also give you the opportunity of visiting the Dive Centre and meeting our staff. I will also be able to advise you on the best equipment for your needs at the right price.
